An ADSL filter/splitter provides an RJ11 socket for connection to the telephone line and a filtered RJ11 socket for connection of a fax machine, fax/modem, answering machine, cordless phone or alarm dialler etc.
A third RJ11 socket is provided for connection to the ADSL Modem/Router.
Additional ADSL in-line filters are recommended between each subsequent telephone device and their telephone wall outlet.
If ADSL filters are not fitted, your voice calls may receive interference when ADSL data is being transmitted. This ADSL Filter/Splitter is ADSL2 and ADSL2+ compatible.
