These Black IEC-C14 to IEC-C15 power cords are rated for high-temperature equipment and fitted with connectors on these cables are designed for different male-female pairing. A IEC-C14 (male) is used from the usual C13/C14 pairing, while on the other end, the IEC-C15 (female) is used for the IEC-C15 or IEC-C16 pairing.
The IEC-C15 female connector has the same pin array as a IEC-C13, as well as a notch at the base. The IEC-C15 can be plugged into IEC-C14 or IEC-C16 inlets while the IEC-C13 is limited to only the IEC-C14 inlet.
Applications include connecting equipment with a C13 socket to another peice of equipment that has a C16 plug. This is often found with computers and servers of certain brand/make. The cable connection combo, therefore, is often required in a computer/data room or IT environment.
These cables are designed to meet Australian rating standards, as IEC-C15 & IEC-C16 connectors are traditionally associated with equipment that have a lightly elevated temperature, these leads are designed with elastomer flex as required by many kitchen appliances and computer servers.
Ideal for some CISCO hardware, kitchens and high temperature operating equipment - Australian Standards Approved & Fully Tested.
