These cables support all of the DisplayPort version 1.2 features, including Ultra HD 4K resolution, deep colour, audio and 3D. Multi-Stream support allows connection for up to 5 monitors via daisy chaining. Backwards compatible with DisplayPort version 1.1.
DisplayPort is a new digital standard for high-resolution video that offers a locking connector, higher bit rates, deeper colour modes, optional 128-bit encryption, stereoscopic 3D, and other advancements over HDMI and DVI.
